One More Tiny Game

This time we tried out the ancient one hour rules, using some tiny little Sumerians I had lying around.

It became a brief but intense scuffle over a bridge, with the slightly more painted army winning out! We didn't really name the sides. Various city states fighting over a river crossing, one can assume, as they no doubt sometimes did. A good time.

Tiny Games on Tiny Tables

I've been doing lots of random things, just not writing them up here. So here's one of them random things.

I've had the tiny epic black powder guys for a bit but here's the problem: I don't like the black powder rules! But, as I think I've mentioned before, I do have and enjoy the one hour wargaming rules and so I set out to play the tiniest battle. I made some adjustments, halving all the distances and and adding a special rule where an officer nearby can allow one unit to reroll their casualty die once.

It worked pretty well! A fun and fast couple of games, played out on a table about two foot long. I recommend it.
